The beginning: Bricktronic's Waterpark (2012)

Yes. A blog about reviewing water slides in a virtual lego game is a thing. But why? Can't I review real-life ones instead? You actually feel the thrill in those? Well, I declare myself as a huge waterslide nerd, having heard from numerous slide manufacturers around the world, as well as holding the knowledge of numerous types of slides, even the most obscure ones. Many people and groups have made their own water parks in this platform, heck, even other non-park related places happen to have their own water slides too. Why not review those as well!

I'll pretty much evaluate their thrill level, design, realism, yeah let's just cut to the chase.

Perhaps one of the most classic water park in this here platform is of course the one made by Bricktronic in 2012.

I'm sure everybody remembers the good ol' thumbnail with the colorful slide tower and the huge half pipe slide next to it. The nostalgia really kicks in here.

The slides here are designed with velocity parts moving you or the rafts, with ring meshes acting as pipes. This method of slide making was also used on those Slide Down A Pipe games, which I might also review sometime soon.

My first order of business is of course, check out the most prominent quad slides that can be seen in the thumbnail.

Here we are at the top. All of the slides you see here are all ridden with a two-person raft. However, since this is a mobile player haven, it won't be a strange occurence to find people sliding down without a raft or even trying to climb up the slides. The slides themselves are fun nonetheless.

This is the green slide! You can see here the raft used to go down the slide.

The slide begins with an open-air drop, before going in enclosed.

After said drop, riders traverse through an enclosed s-bend, before plunging down the final drop.

There's even that one ring on the run-out. Only complaint I have is the slow-down in the tunnel section, but hey, at least it's there to delight all the sliders! Both open drops are also nice.

The red slide of the quartet is the one I find the most thrilling.

It drops you into this REALLY STEEP near-vertical drop. Truly an insane ride if it existed in real life.It could work more as an open-air slide, though.

The slide's run out consists of these colorful red and white rings. Pretty cool detail!

The yellow slide here is the one im the more fascinated with.

This slide literally consists of two airtime hills. A design of which you could mostly find at a park in Italy.

Heh, at least the part's velocities could control the speed of going up the hills, so an incident like in that one fail video wouldn't happen.

The run-out. Such a crazy ride.

Already established two pictures ago, the yellow slide isn't the only uphill slide in the tower.

The blue slide also features an uphill section, after a half enclosed, half open first big drop!

Overall, the four colorful slides were nice. They're cool to ride, especially the uphill slides.

But now, it is time to check out the two big lads of the park.

With the obvious biggest one being the giant blue half pipe slide.

This slide also uses a two-person raft, but is wider than the one's we've seen.

The half pipe itself is MASSIVE, but unfortunately, since it isn't physics based, you swing only three times on the ride.

It would've been awesome to ride this slide like that indeed.

The slide also does a little jump before dropping you into the end pool. Yeah, there are slides here that don't end up on a run-out.

Another view of this big boy with wasted potential.

The orange slide next to it is in fact, a trapdoor slide.

It's those kind of slides were you go inside a capsule, then you wait till the floor drops below your feet, and you end up plunging into the slide.

The drop is so BIG, and the slide itself is very fast. I do admit it's the fastest slide in the park.

The steep drop slide drops you into one of the pools in the activity area behind the main slide tower.

Said activity pool also has it's slides as well, these being smaller body slides.

This is the red slide, which has a bump hill and a jump that throws you into the air!

Here is the entrance. Also, if you haven't noticed, you enter the slide's platform via a ladder.

The white slide next to it is a simple enclosed drop slide, which I've used to see EVERYWHERE due to it eventually becoming a free model.

The entrance!

See that purple slide? We'll get to it later.

Next to the orange drop slide is one weird body slide.

After the drop, you go up a small hill. Pretty strange for a slide like this.

Then you go on a long turn, then a small dip before landing into the end pool. Such a wild and yet fun body slide.

The entrance, of course.

But wait, the main slide tower also has two more slides at the bottom, which end on the same pool where the red and white slides we saw earlier end.

At the bottom is this short green watercoaster-type slide.

It consists of a drop, a hill, then a short enclosed section before dropping into the pool. The speed of the slide doesn't really make the slide that exciting unfortunately.

At least the purple slide that is taller is way crazier due to how it ends.

This is the only slide at this park where you can ride with a single tube, which gives you the sensation of almost flipping! It's also faster than the green slide.

The way this slide ends is crazy, as it literally drops you in a few feet in the air, making you freefall into the end pool. Wild!

Speaking of wild, I think it's time to check out it's jungle area, the aptly named Jungle World.

An area where you can hang out in a treehouse-like longue...

Grab in some lemonade...

And go down the slides!

This area has it's own pair of raft slides.

This green slide is what interests me the most.

The slide begins with a short enclosed section.

The raft then goes up a smaller hill, before dipping down into a steeper drop into another uphill section.

This section is definitely the highlight of the slide. You could also see people going down via the bridge or the stairs!

Then another enclosed part takes you into the run out.

Overall, it is the best slide of this area.

And the final slide we're checking out here is the orange slide, also on this tower.

It is also another uphill slide, which unlike the other raft uphill slides at the park, it is fully enclosed.

What also makes this one stand out from the others is it's glass section, where the riders at the bottom could observe you sliding down. How neat!

One more uphill section is thrown in, with this one being smaller.

And then, it finally takes you into the run-out.

FINAL THOUGHTS: This park is very cool looking, and has some very decent slides, no wonder it got such this popularity, still holding up ever since it's release in 2012. The fame of this game would lead to Bricktronic to make a sequel of this game this year, that being Waterpark Life, which I will also post a review of soon. Overall, it is a place worth checking out, both for how very fun looking it is and to enjoy seeing mobile players be goofy!
